The Youth Parliament competition was held at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Salt Lake on 02/08/2024.:The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their debating and leadership skills.
Participation:
– Total number of participants:52
– Number of schools participating: 07
– The competition consisted of a mock parliament session where students took on the roles of MPs and debated on various topics.
– Each team consisted of 55 members.
Winners:
– Best Team: K. V. IIT Kharagpur
– Runner-up Team::K.V.Ballygange
Special Mentions:
– Best Speaker- Ms, Shristi Mukherjee
Best Prime Minister-s Pooja Kumari
Best Opposition leader- Ms Sana Kundi
Special Prize-Ms Ishika Mishra, Ipshita Choudhary and Himanti
Conclusion:
The Youth Parliament competition was a huge success, providing a valuable learning experience for all participants. The event helped students develop their critical thinking, public speaking, and leadership skills. We look forward to organizing more such events in the future.
